Project: Stepping Out of the Shadows

We want to build up a gallery made of many self-introductions of non-offending pedophiles. Everyone is asked to send us a short self-intro, who he/she is, what makes his/her personality, about feelings and dreams. Maybe closely connected to their pedophilia, maybe not. Moreover everyone can design a picture that will be set next to the introduction or in any other way design his or her page (format A4). The aim is to show: that is me! No creepy monster that just longs to molest children but people very well aware of the problem, but living our lifes and being friends, relatives, neighbours, children and grandchildren, partly even parents ourselves and not necessarily the worst parents.

I do not know where you live, but in the Netherlands (Nizozemi) where I live, that´s is like suicide. Sorry. I admire your guts and your initiative, but I do not want rocks through my window.

As I think what happened to Marthijn from the Dutch pedofile-association with the same name (disfunct now ), someone who never had sex in his life and never will have (I know him personnaly, he is very sincere and honest and extremely intelligent, creative person), but just is honest (something extremely rare on this planet) I do not want the same consequences. He can not walk free anymore on the streets, nowhere in the Netherlands, people recognizes him, insult him, sometimes get fysically agressive, throw stones through his windows, but fireworks in his mailbox (deadly dangerous) and the Dutch police - corrupt as they are - do not care, they do not protect him, all political parties from the communist left to the Hitlerian right do not care he is attacked and some are even happy about it.

Sorry for my cynism, maybe in Czech Republics the situation is better (it looks to me Czechs are less agressive and better educated then the Dutch, in Slovak Republics I think it is also dangerous to out yourself, but I´m not sure).
In Czech Republics people indeed seem intelligent, not extremely religious and tolerant. However this might be a wrong impression, since I´m just tourist and I do not understand soo much Czech (but I love this poetric language, although it´s extremly difficult).

I decided to contribute to the gallery so I created my own piece and it has been published by Max. You can view it at http://www.shadowsproject.net/Galerie/C0018_Simgiran.pdf. I decided to give it a different form, mainly because I found it easier that way. But I think it sends an important message. Please share your thoughts with me.

Hey guys! The project is about to be overhauled. My admin is in the process of putting everything back online and then we will be overhauling the website until it is ready for publication again. For now as the first thing, the old site is back online as an archive.

So follow https://shadowsproject.net for up to date information and go to https://archiv.shadowsproject.net to see what it is all about for now. Teaser: SP will probably also add a section for poetry and other contributions, that will be more open to different formats and also normalophiles than the original main gallery. So consider contributing.
And please consider donations, if you like what we’re doing.

It is done! The archive is online and Shadows Project can finally be viewed normally again. Some repairs will follow and the overhaul of the new site will start soon.

Thanks guys! I didn't yet know there were poems before you told me. Where can I take a look at them?

I will definitely have to read and think some more about copyright stuff. Up to now almost all content on SP is under a Creative Commons License CC-BY-NC-ND which means: you can freely use the content non-commercially if you cite Shadows Project as the source, just you have to get written permission first if what you do will be sold or if you want to remix/alter the content somehow.
I have not yet figured out if dealing with entirely external content like this needs any special changes in that area.
