It is... something, yes. My country - not just the government, most people here - supports a genocide. Hell, not "support", we "gleefully revel in" this. I've had the experience of my close ones, otherwise decent, normal people, explaining to me that this, well, unfortunate but necessary. They had it coming. They deserve this. And then it always boils down to one thing, although noone says it directly - they are subhuman. Why are they all terrorists? violent? incapable of building anything? antisemitic? noone wants them? etc., and once one refuses all answers and explanations, there is only one reason for all that left - it's an innate characteristic. Turns out, yeah, you really can justify anything after you dehumanize the enemy enough. The best one gets here is that Israel is also, sort of, bad, but everything is Netanyahu's fault. Or the coward's classic "both sides".
Well, it seems- now to Lebanon, I guess. After every random kid in Gaza (and in West Bank, who cares anyway) being a Hamas terrorist, i wonder how many Hezbollah terrorists will the Israeli military kill? The Czechs sure won't decorate plushies for them.

What I find shocking is the lack of information about the war in the Czech media compared to... any other media around the world. And when there is some mention, it is almost always a celebration of Israel's ability to "defend itself" through successful raids on terrorists, with little or no mention of civilian casualties. I encourage everyone to research the number of civilians killed by Hizballah, Hamas, the Houthis (all designated as terrorist organizations), and Israel - over any period in history.
It is horrifying what we allow Israel, our ally, to commit - with our support.
And don't even get me started on the atrocities in the West Bank...
