Hey there

I am Max, a german pedo-activist from the team of the german equivalent of ČEPEK Schicksal und Herausforderung (german for „Fate and Challenge“). We want to help pedophiles lead happy law-abiding lives and fight stigmatization of non-offending pedophiles. We are in close contact to the german Dunkelfeld-Project (kein-taeter-werden.de, troubled-desire.com) and share the same basic views like your forum outlines them in its rules. I am here because I have just now found out that there is an english section here. Somehow I must have missed that when I looked up ČEPEK before. I would like to see projects like ours connect internationally.

I am in my thirties and feel attracted to girls and women aged 5-12 and >20. After noticing that in my early 20s I feel into the deep emotional hole of a severe personal crisis: who and what was I? What truly is my identity? Can I even not offend or will my pedophilia overwhelm me eventually? That made me seek therapy at the then newly founded Dunkelfeld Project in Berlin. Therapy was quite hard but has helped me to regain a foothold in life within 2 years after therapy had ended at the beginning of 2009. From that moment on I sought to talk and help others with what I had experienced. And though I have been unemployed most of time and this topic has totally flipped my life upside down it has been a great time, a great 11 years now online. And I think I have found my vocation here.

I would love to get to know a bit more about your forum and community. It is so sad that the language barrier blocks us in Germany from even really knowing what our Czech and Slovakian neighbors are doing in a project so similar to ours. I want to know eeeeeverything!

Oh, and the way I have first heard of ČEPEK was at the american VirPed-forum and again later when I watched the film „Daniel‘s World“ during the Berlinale filmfestival. I was blown away when I realised how active and not only online-active but also real-life-active this community is. A step we still have to take but are working at currently, to become more proactive instead of just reactive.

So that‘s what comes to my mind right now. I am haply to be here, will try to read through as much as I can in the english section (sadly the russian I have learned doesn’t really help me much with the Czech language) and hope I can get to know you guys and girls.

Hi Max,

Welcome here and thank you for your introduction. The sad reality is that the English section of our forum is far from active - we only have a couple of posts per month, more or less. As a regular member I can only speak for myself, but I believe that some sort of cooperation or at least information exchange could be beneficial for both ČEPEK and Schicksal und Herausforderung.

I am in my late thirties as well, and have the same attraction to little girls as you. I'm married for almost twenty years now, my wife being just a bit younger than me, and I have a daughter who recently started puberty. I am aware of my attraction since my own pubescence, but I fully admitted that I was a pedophile only few years back. Although I'm still in love with my wife after all these years, I feel that as I'm getting older, I'm losing the ability to be aroused by adult women, which wasn't the case before.

Anyway, I hope you will have some good conversations here on ČEPEK. It is nice to have you here!

Probably obvious that a foreign language section would be much less active but as I said, the language barrier is barring me from participating in the rest of the forum. But maybe I will learn a bit of czech over here. I already managed to decipher what „divky a ženy“ means during registration.

I came back to Virped recently after about a year of inactivity and I had a less active period here as well. It's great to hear from you again. I am just a bit worried you got the meaning of "dívky a ženy" wrong. Obviously, you wanted to say that you like "chlapci".

I do not know what is the situation elsewhere abroad, but it is true that our community is quite active. We work together with sexologists who respond in our online counseling center (Poradna ČEPEK).

This year we founded the non-profit organization Spolek ČEPEK, which is officially registered. We have a bank account, a data-box (some kind of official "e-mail" system) for official communication with the authorities, we also have the chairwoman of the organization (Iška on our forum). Founding member Mgr. Kateřina Klapilová is a leading sexologist working at the National Institute of Mental Health in Prague, she is one of the initiators of a preventive project called Parafilik, which is similar to the German project Dunkelfeld.

Next year, if it works out, maybe two of our members will carry a public banner at Prague Pride Parade with information about our community.

Also our forum is very open to public, on other platforms you also have to at least register to read posts, on our forum you can read all public post without registration. Sometimes people get angry because they read our thoughts, but we want to be open for those people who can better understand what we live and what bothers us.

Have you got some information about other communities in different countries, if they are also active in a public space like ČEPEK?

Nice to read you again. I have been inactive on VirPed for quite a while as well. Mostly due to our forum taking a lot of time and effort to run it and some private troubles (a very unstable relationship to a woman). But I try to get back in touch with people. And I really miss many people from VirPed.

Would you be interested in helping us out for a while? We‘ve got some problems since sadly our main technical admin has suddenly decided to leave the team a few weeks ago and separarted his sub-project https://kinder-im-herzen.net (which is inspired by https://aboutpedophilia.com/) from our platform.

Somehow the german professionals seem too absorbed in their own jobs to actively support us or work together. It is always „Yes, sorry, we domlike what you do and support you fully (ith words) but we’ve got our own stuff to do so no active support is possible, sorry.“ We have only now managed to get registered as an association in Germany, two days ago. Now we can officially call ourselves the „Schicksal und Herausforderung e.V.“. You are actually the first to read this right now. But we had to find private people willing to support us to be able to found this association. No professionals from the field of sexology involved.

For me registering and being active on VirPed has been a blessing. My English has gotten sooo much better and I got to know how different the circumstances are for pedophiles in the english-speaking parts of the world. I wasn’t able to express much at the beginning and now I am feeling confident enough to give interviews in english.

We are planning to add an english section to our forum as well. The reason being that VirPed can’t accept teens below the age of 18 due to the American legislation. In germany there are very loose laws and the only thing we‘d have to observe is to make sure there is no explicit (that is: kind of pornographic or explicitly violent) content in the forum — which we wouldn’t allow anyway. So therefore we want to provide a place that may complement VirPed for teens. You‘d be welcome there as well. But it will take some time still until we can open such a section.

Have you got some information about other communities in different countries, if they are also active in a public space like ČEPEK?

I only know about the english-speaking community connected to VirPed, about B4U-ACT (which is kind of pro-contact sadly) and ČEPEK here. Connected to VirPed there are

• ASAPinternational.org which is an association providing help to find therapy and has a helpline, founded and still managed mainly by Gary Gibson and Tabitha Abel
• Pedophiles about Pedophilia (aboutpedophilia.com), a collaborative blog mainly founded by ender
• Ethan Edwards‘ (one founder of VirPed) own personal blog at https://celibatepedos.blogspot.com/
• Todd Nickerson‘s blog „Not a Monster“ at https://notamonsterblog.wordpress.com/

In Germany we have quite a number of pedo-communities but all but ours are more or less overrun by people who have adopted an ideology that excuses child sexual abuse to some degree. Some even actively attack us (and organizations like Dunkelfeld) from time to time, especially in the beginning 2017 and into 2018. I have heard the shall be a similar forum from the netherlands and one somewhere in scandinavia (I don’t remeber the exact country) but since I can read neither of their languages I don’t know anything about them or if they even really exist.

Great flyer! Short and simple but with the most important infos. If you should need some help with design at any point, feel free to ask. I am a freelance designer and have designed almost everything involving costum graphics surrounding our websites (except for SuH itself for its current design is still from 2009) and Flyers for our projects.

I don't think it is appropriate to say that Spolek ČEPEK is registered as a charitable association, rather the form is of a pretty general non-profit organization.

The regional court, which registers associations, rejected the name "Czechoslovak Pedophile Community" because, although pedophilia does not mean child sexual abuse, to the general population this name would give the impression that it is a community supporting child sexual abuse. Therefore, the association now has only an acronym as its official name.

There are a lot of other things going on in my life at the moment. For example I have also lost a close friend after trusting her a lot for 7 years (had to cut contact for she has grown into a very toxic influence in my life sadly) and overall stress has increased. Hell, stepping away from a project that I have poured most of my energy into for 14 years is hard in and of itself! A huge chunk of my life is kind of breaking away and that is making me sad but also I realise: that is the way to go. There is no way to continue to try and fix those issues that drive me away.

Now I am going through my data and accounts checking for thing I should change, that need to reflect that I am no longer a member of my old team. Boure realised this early and has posted about this on our forum a few days ago. So she kind of beat me to it.
